At Canine & Company Spa, your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities. Your pet's safety is non-negotiable, and I take every precaution to ensure a secure and nurturing environment. In addition to our spa services, I'm pleased to offer small dog boarding for pups under 30lbs. Whether it's a short stay or an extended visit, your companion will receive the same level of care and attention it deserves.
Should your dog display signs of elevated fear, anxiety, or stress during its stay, I may recommend rescheduling with pre-visit medication prescribed by your veterinarian. I also keep delicious snacks on hand to keep your pup occupied and content during its pampering appointment.
Conveniently located in Longs, our homebase spa provides a comfortable and nurturing environment for pets. While I do not offer styling or haircutting services, I provide a range of pampering treatments to keep your companion feeling its best.

The Importance Of Starting Early
Making sure you start your dog young is very important, as some dogs do not enjoy being pampered if it's not introduced in their puppy stage. Desensitizing them from an early stage makes their appointments less stressful and easier on them. Through play and reward-based training, puppies are gradually introduced to environment, range of sounds, and sensations.
During your puppies first spa session I aim to make the experience as delightful as possible as possible, making sure they are happy to be pampered in the future.
Puppy Intro Package
What you and your puppy will get is 4 sessions over the course of 8-12 weeks, depending on your schedule. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the spa by using modern handling and desensitizing techniques.
First session - Simple meet and greet so your puppy can get to know me. A good start to build a trusting bond. This session typically last 10-15 minutes.
Second session - This session will focus on handling and introducing them to the spa tools (comb, brush, nail clippers). This session typically last 30 minutes.
Third session - We will work on desensitization to my dryer, nail filler, and the sound of running water. This session typically last 30-45 minutes.
Fourth and final session - Today is the big day! Time for a bath, blow out, comb out, ears cleaned, and a nail trim. Puppy will go home with a fist spa day certificate!

Cancellation Policy - On rare occasions, Canine & Company Spa may need to cancel your appointment due to equipment failure, illness, ect.. Every effort will be made to contact Client in advance to reschedule. If client cannot keep their appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to call 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in a charge of $30, which must be paid before rescheduling next appointment.
Current Vaccination/Veterinary Information - Your pet’s safety is first at Canine & Company Spa. We require a current rabies and DHPP vaccination expiration date before any Spa services will be performed. Proof of Rabies Vaccination and DHPP shall be provided to Canine and Company Spa upon request as well as current Veterinarian information.
Safety/Dog Behavior - Client must inform us prior to being pampered if your pet has bitten someone or has shown aggressive tendencies. Canine & Company Soa will not accept any aggressive dog. If false representations about the pet's behavior were made when asked during booking of an appointment, we will discontinue services. Client will be liable for any bites, or any property damage caused by their pet(s). For our safety as well as your pets, Canine & Company Spa has the right to refuse service in the event of a pet that cannot be handled safely.
Pre-Existing Conditions - Occasionally, spa treatment can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after being pampered and may require immediate medical attention. In the best interest of your pet, Client designates Canine & Company Spa, as agent and understands that if Canine & Company Spa is unable to contact Client first, then Canine & Company Spa, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of veterinarian at Client's expense.
Senior Pets And Pets With Health issues - Spa procedures can sometimes be stressful especially for a senior pet or a pet with health problems. Senior pets and pets with health issues have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be pampered for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. Canine & Company Spa will not be held responsible for accident or injury to an elder or health-compromised pet during their spa.
Flea/Tick Infestation - Flea and tick infestation cannot be tolerated. Client is responsible for keeping their pet(s) flea and tick free. If a flea or a tick is found on your pet, Canine & Company Spa will apply a flea and tick shampoo to eliminate the fleas in order to maintain spa sanitation. If Canine & Company Spa finds an infestation of fleas or ticks on pet, an additional $75 de-bug cleaning fee in addition to the spa fee for this service. There may be side effects, including, but not limited to allergic reactions, which may result from the manufacturer-recommended of usage said products, which clients agree that Canine & Company Spa will not be held responsible for. Additionally, client is also aware that any such treatment is not guaranteed to be 100% effective.
Pictures/Videos - Canine & Company Spa may take photos/videos of your pet before, during or after their appointment. Clients consents that photos/videos may be utilized for Canine & Company Spa's website, social media or for any and all advertising/marketing purposes at Canine & Company Spa's discretion.
Client affirms they are the rightful legal owner, or care giver to the pet for which services are rendered.
I, the undersigned, understand and agree to the above terms and conditions for the spa treatment and maintenance of my pet(s). In consideration of the spa services, I agree to hold Canine & Company Spa harmless from any and all damage, loss, or claims to pet, personal or real property. I acknowledge that the interpretation of this provision is to be read in the broadest sense possible and encompasses any real or proceeded negligence and all acts preformed reasonable within the scope of service by Canine & Company Spa, its agents, its employees or representatives. The terms, special services of handling shall include but are not limited to emergency veterinarian services in the event I am not able. I authorize Canine & Company Spa and/or agent therefor to act as my agant in the event emergency veterinarian services, boarding, care-taking, and/or transportation is neccessary and agrees to pay all cost. Any/all damages, loss or claim shall include, but not limited to death, injury, or shock. Said pre-existing conditions shall include, but not limited to advanced age, extreme nervousness, neurosis, illness, previous injury, skin or coat conditions, or medical conditions
I, the undersigned, have read, understand and agree to the above terms and my rights and obligations for spa treatment and maintenance as stated in the agreement for the services of pet spa treatment through Canine & Company Spa.
